Ages: 10 - 17

Michelle Lea started performing professionally by the age of 10. Before that she simply opened her bedroom window and sang to the animals in the woods behind her house. She said the animals were her audience. Michelle Lea has been wowing audiences ever since.

A the age of 12 - Michelle organized a variety show to raise money to help tsunami victims in south-east asia. This show had four bands, a comic and a magician. Johnny Rowlands with KMBC TV 9 was the MC for this event and also shot a commercial with Senator Victor Calihan and Michelle to help promote this fund raiser. Less than 200 people came to the event but it raised over 1,300 dollars. Not long after this event Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf. Michelle went to another fund raiser just to sing a few songs and she raised over 1,500 dollars.
